Randall has over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries spanning design, development, marketing, business development and market research. He moved to Silicon Valley over 25 years ago to join his first startup company and has since co-founded, held executive positions with and mentored many others. He currently runs a technology and business development consulting firm – DSP & Wireless Communications – and has served as a startup mentor for several local accelerators, including the German Accelerator, US Market Access and Plug & Play.
In addition to startups, Mr. Fahey has held senior positions at AMD, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Nokia, Motorola and IBM. He spent eight years living and working in Europe during the initial rollout of GSM wireless communications systems in Switzerland, France, Germany and the UK.
Randall’s technical expertise includes digital signal processing, AI/ML systems, wireless communications and semiconductor design. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from MIT.
