Mr. Michael Alexander is an IBM Distinguished Engineer Emeritus and member of both the IBM Industry Academy Emeritus and IBM Academy of Technology Emertius. He is an IBM & Open Group Certified Master Architect with over 35 years of systems development experience in all aspects of the information technology business. Mr. Alexander was the Telecom Solution Executive and Global architect for Blockchain Solutions as well as Cross Industry IoT and CTO Chief Architect for the Telecom Industry at IBM. He led the combined IBM 5G Lab with RedHat to support the on-boarding of O-RAN vendor solutions into a combined 5 G functionality that was used to progress the opportunities of IBM and RedHat with multiple carriers globally. He also led the CE(Consumer Electronics) SDP technical implementation for Cloud that utilized functionality from the Telco SDP to create and manage services for Consumer Electronics customers, such as Philips Smart TV. He was the Telco Industry architect for the IBM CSPP, Cloud Service Provider Platform for the Telco Industry.
