Noelani McGadden is a business executive with over 29 years of experience that span wireless, mobile cable/broadband, IoT and startup industries. Noelani has worked as an employee and consultant with a host of channels including ATT, Charter, Verizon, Senet, KDDI, Samsung, T-Mobile and Telia Mobitel to name a few. As a result of her experience in this market, Noelani has deep expertise in creating strategic go-to-market plans around value-added services and has helped her clients develop and execute new business models to monetize assets and deploy IoT services. She understands the challenges around creating a framework in nascent markets and has prepared digital strategies for IoT companies to accelerate adoption and drive long-term brand value.
Noelani has run sales and business development teams for cloud-based software and services companies used by Network Operators, Application Developers, and System Integrators for Internet of Things (IoT) networks. In addition to industrial and commercial applications, Noelani has helped water and gas utility solution providers across the United States, representing millions of households. As an advisor to Imagine Wireless, Noelani helps utilities, hospitals and large enterprises, such as airports, understand the options that are available to them when using IOT devices to transform their business operations. She served on the LoRa Alliance Regulatory Working Group to help lobby and support open spectrum for unlicensed use and to ensure its future use by corporations to come.
Noelani has lived and worked in Japan, Israel, Holland and Sweden and has spoken on IoT and solution design at Carnegie Mellon University & Denver University and moderated panels at Mobile World Congress and The Toronto IOT Summit, to name a few.
In her spare time, she enjoys boating, biking and hiking and trying to catch lobsters and striped bass. Noelani has a degree in Math and Computer Science and MBA from the University of Denver where she was a 4 year NCAA Gymnast and part of the NCAA Division II National Champion Gymnastics Team.
